Christine is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who obtained a Master's Degree in Counselor Education from Western Illinois University. Christine has extensive experience working with a wide variety of mental illnesses including (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, personality disorders, adjustment disorders, as well as general life events such as grief, loss, or divorce.

Christine believes in the collaborative nature of therapy and works alongside her clients to customize a treatment plan to reach their individual goals. She  values authenticity and works with clients to become their true, authentic self. Christine is known for her nonjudgemental approach. As a client, you can expect her to be kind, warm, and to incorporate skills organically to facilitate change.

Christine has a specialized focus on trauma and grief. She understands that traumatic experiences, including grief, can leave deep scars, impacting your thoughts, emotions, and relationships. As a therapist specializing in trauma recovery, she is here to support you on your journey towards healing and growth.

Christine utilizes a combined approach integrating:

DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy): To equip you with powerful skills for managing emotions, distress tolerance, and healthy relationships.

Existential Therapy: To explore the deeper questions about life, meaning, and purpose that often arise after trauma, fostering resilience and growth.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): To help you process and reframe traumatic memories, reducing their emotional burden.
